Chicago and Movies in Old Joliet Prison
Kelli is a great tour guide! I enjoyed the Old Joliet Prison tour very much (note: this was NOT the "haunted" prison tour--that is completely different), especially learning about all the movies and TV shows that were filmed here ("Blues Brothers," etc.).

Art of Ferris Bueller
If you enjoyed the movie Ferris Bueller’s Day Off, you will definitely enjoy this tour. Kelli presented the most detailed and informative facts of how John Hughes, the writer and director of this well done movie, implemented works of art from the Art institute of Chicago. You will not be disappointed! Highly recommend this tour, The Art of Ferris Bueller!

Art of Ferris Bueller
Save Ferris and Take This Tour! Kelli was an amazing tour guide! Her knowledge of how the Art pieces featured in Ferris Bueller tied to themes in the movies as well as the characters was very interesting. It gives you a new perspective on this great movie. The tour is a must for anyone who loves the movie and is good for teens and adults alike!

Chicago and Movies Underground
What a fantastic tour of Beneath the Big Screen that my husband and I enjoyed on July 26. We knew some movies were made in Chicago, but not as many that Kelli introduced to our group. Kelli was very detailed as she explained how movies were made — from lighting to how and why various scenes and characters were photographed. Kelli was not only extremely knowledgeable, but also very engaging with our group. We highly recommend this tour. You will not be disappointed!

Program or Virtual Tour
Kelli provided a fun, informative, and well-prepared, virtual presentation on comedian Bob Newhart's Chicago roots. She covered his long and successful career in stand-up comedy. as well as his hit television series The Bob Newhart Show and Newhart. A special treat was to see some of the places where he lived in the city, and the famous statue dedicated to him at Navy Pier. If you're wanting to learn more about the Windy City's role in film and television, we highly recommend checking out Kelli's tours.

Wizard of Oz in Chicago
What a gem of a find our tour was! A friend of mine and I did the Dark Hollywood tour today, as it sounded intriguing and something different to do. I had so much fun! Learned a ton about Chicago, Hollywood, The Wizard of Oz and other films, and even some broader history that I never knew, and I found it all fascinating. Also loved the incredible photos that the tour guide brought pertaining to all the relevant history. Tour guide was lovely and welcoming of all my questions. I look forward to taking another Movie Tour at the old Joliet prison in September!

Art of Ferris Bueller
Best Mother Daughter Date Ever! Such a fun tour for both my daughter and me. Kelli is extremely knowledgeable about so many facets of Ferris Bueller & The Art Institute. This tour ranked right up there with the Architecture Tour for my soon to be college film student and me. Highly, highly recommend!!

Very much enjoyed our movie tour with Kelli! She's warm, friendly, knowledgeable, and a good herder of cattle 😄 (which you need to be when navigating busy downtown especially with folks who aren't used to the city). I'm a lifelong Chicagoan and learned facts and visited places I've never been. Our out of town guests loved seeing the pretty architecture, the underbelly of the city, and where various films were shot. I loved the interactiveness, from the questions to the complementary media, and the getting our steps in but in a way that was accessible to everyone in the group.
